2010 Playrix games lineup
February 03, 2010 by Dasha Kobzeva
Earlier this week I got a bunch of e-mails from our fans asking me to give you a scoop on all the upcoming Playrix games and share what we are preparing for you this year. So I am more than happy to bring you behind the scenes of the Playrix workshop and give you an insight of our current projects.

February 2010 will see the release of our long-awaited game, Royal Envoy™. When the idea first struck us, we could not have imagined that it would take us over 16 months of development to this point and 7 revisions of the game mechanics to arrive at what we have today. Royal Envoy™ has certainly been one of the most ambitious Playrix projects to date. We’ve been working really hard on this game, raising the Playrix quality bar to a new level. Now we just hope that you will have as much fun playing it as we have had working on it. And keep your eyes peeled for the Royal Envoy dev diary that is coming soon.

In spring and summer 2010 we plan to release a bunch of all-new titles as well as sequels to your favorite franchises. First, Rustic Ranch (working title), a blend of match 3, time management and sim, will be launched. It looks like a very fun game with vivid and charismatic characters. It’s one of my personal faves.

Fishdom fans rejoice! Yet another sequel to the flagship title is in the works. Fishdom 2 will feature three unique tanks to unlock, an unlimited number of aquariums to buy and will let you e-mail the pictures of your beautiful virtual tanks to friends. How cool is that?

Besides, we’ve been hard at work on the second installment of our award-winning game, 4 Elements™. Misfortune has befallen the magic kingdom once again. You need to set the fairies of earth, air, fire and water free, and restore the books of magic. The graphics look absolutely stunning. I am about to frame the magic cards of the book and hang them up on the wall as a fine piece of art. Just have a look!

At the same time we are carving out a number of games for the social networks. A social adaptation of Fishdom™ is to hit Facebook in February and we are very excited about it.

So as you can see we've been pretty busy here at Playrix. Get ready for some awesome games in 2010!
